About the Role
- LCA Tool Development: Develop and advance a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool, incorporating relevant supply chain considerations.
- 3D Printing of Models: Lead the creation of 3D-printed models for project and pilot visualization.
- Energy System Modelling: Support improvements to energy system modeling tools, contributing to project analysis and decision-making.
- Data Gathering and Analysis: Collect and manage data for various projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Project Management: Assist in project writing, coordination, and management, supporting DMEC’s mission and ensuring effective project delivery.
- Technical Collaboration: Work with the technical team on various tasks and contribute to successful project outcomes.
About you
- Technical and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to work with data, analytical models, and 3D modeling tools and printers, as well as experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and energy system modeling.
- Sector Experience: Some prior experience in the offshore renewable energy sector or related field, ideally gained through a role or internship. An existing network in the field is a strong advantage.
- Organizational and Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-Oriented: Collaborative mindset with an eagerness to contribute to team goals and engage with colleagues on shared projects.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Natural curiosity and initiative to identify challenges and contribute to solutions.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication in English is essential. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage but not required.
